Best described as a cross between an elliptical trainer and a bicycle, this device gives you an all-new way to enjoy an intense yet low-impact workout in the great outdoors. Many of our customers say it’s like riding on air!   **How it works** The ElliptiGO has a low frame with the oversized foot platforms and long drive arms commonly associated with standard elliptical machines, along with the kind of handlebars, handbrakes, shifter, and tires you might see on a bicycle. The user stands on the foot platforms and pedals the ElliptiGO with an easy, natural stride made possible by the machine’s unique design. Balancing, steering, gear shifting, and braking are performed in much the same way as on a traditional bike.   **Who it’s for** Because the ElliptiGO outdoor cross trainer is fun and easy to use, it’s the perfect machine for anyone that wants to lose weight, get in shape, and improve the overall [cardiovascular](https://blog.pushpedalpull.com/archives/996) fitness while having FUN! Also, because the ElliptiGO can deliver a high-intensity full-body workout that spares the knees and joints from excessive impact and jarring, it is a particularly useful machine for anyone that is rehabbing an injury. The ElliptiGO allows you to get in a tough cardiovascular workout to maintain your aerobic conditioning without jeopardizing proper healing. Finally, the ElliptiGO is also ideal for serious runners that want to add high-quality miles to their training schedule without compromising their knees, hips, ankles, Achilles tendons, or other body parts that are prone to repetitive use injuries. In addition, many competitive runners use the ElliptiGO for low-impact interval training and speed workouts that can’t readily be replicated by other means.     **Trials and rentals** If you would like to learn more about ElliptiGO Trainers or want to road test one for yourself, please visit the Push Pedal Pull website to schedule an appointment at a store location near you.
