Prepare to be amazed at this story from the vault. In 2009, CNN told the story of Lan Yin Tsai, an intrepid 84-year-old woman who, for 26 years, biked the New Jersey's City to Shore -- a 150-mile bike ride to benefit multiple sclerosis research. And she did it in heels and a dress on an old-fashioned one-speed bike to boot.

Take-away: What are you passionate about? Let your heart, intentions and love for others drive you through workouts. Run an extra lap for someone you care about. “Just because I can’t do it today, doesn’t mean I can’t do it someday.” Arthur Boorman’s story of transformation inspired so many people, his video on YouTube went viral. Boorman, a former paratrooper was battling health issues and was reliant on a cane and braces to walk. Desperate to regain his life, he began doing yoga, even though he had been turned away by several yoga teachers. His determination to change his health forever changed his life.
